One check, two records
The default Kovi check includes a trailer section. The driver says which trailer they are coupled to, completes the trailer checks, and the trailer gets its own record for the day. A defect on the trailer stays on the trailer, even when it is pulled by a different unit tomorrow.
Trailers are vehicles too
Add trailers as vehicles with their own registration or fleet number and their own dates. They count as vehicles for pricing, at the same £1 per week, and they do not have to be checked daily unless you want them to be.
Handovers
If one driver passes a vehicle to another during the day, the handover is recorded so there is a clear line of responsibility.

Do trailers need a daily check in Kovi?
It is up to you. Trailers are not expected to be checked daily by default, but you can switch that on for any trailer.
