Saved on the phone, sent later
If the phone is offline when the driver finishes, Kovi keeps the completed check and any photos in the phone's storage and sends them automatically when the connection returns. The driver does not have to do anything.
What the office sees
The office sees the check once it arrives, with the time the driver actually did it. Each check records the time the driver completed it.
Tips for poor signal sites
- Open Kovi once on signal each day so the vehicle list is up to date.
- Add Kovi to the home screen. It loads faster and behaves like an app.
- Do not clear browser data in the middle of the day, as unsent checks are held there.
Questions
What happens if the phone dies before the signal returns?
Once the phone is back on and Kovi is opened with signal, the saved check sends. Checks that have not sent are kept on the phone until they do.
